PRAY FOR MY COUNTRY

Don’t look in my eyes because I’m going to cry,
please pray in God, so he will listen and try
to help my country in this ominous calamity
that brings the measures of austerity.

My heart is broken and is full of indignation
for my country’s brutalization and exploitation
by politicians that they have no morals and compassion
and they have decided for my country’s destruction.

Oh my country I can’t stand in any way
the politicians to tear up your flesh like a prey
and accuse you like a criminal who is in prison
and drive you to insanity with only one reason.

Greediness for money and self-satisfaction,
will be almost always by all the same reaction,
with the result to bring the country in the brink of disaster
and be liable to the world’s, taunt, contempt and laughter.

Let me cry for my country, hope is nowhere
only misery and darkness are everywhere,
the people’s heart the desperation really has broken
and their dreams by politicians are stolen.

Politicians that called themselves saviors
but their only trait is to be the worst dictators.
Incompetent callous and corrupt to the bone
had made all the people with desperation to groan.
