LOVE'S TEARS

Once upon a time Love lived far away in the countryside
And over there for long time she used to reside.
One day she decided in the city to walk around
And the way the people live to look around.

She was wondering if she would find
What was for Her in people’s mind
She thought that in their lips was every day
And She was referred by everybody in the best way.

So after some time when She was free
She decided the people from close to see.
To observe how they behave and feel
and what their heart is going to reveal.

One day in a city finally arrives,
To observe the people’s lives,
And immediately starts to look around,
The people who were walking around.

Some people walk so fast like being in a race
And others just walk in a more relaxing pace.
She tries to see every day how they live
And what message She will be able to receive.

But She is not able to do this mission
In spite of Her very good volition.
So she decides in a night club to attend
In order people’s behavior to understand.

One night She goes in such a place to perceive
How the people behave feel and live.
Many people were there to enjoy their life
And trying to escape the routine of life.

She reserves a table and sits down with delight
To observe how the people spend the night.
She expects to see in the people’s face depicted the joy,
With their lives to be happy, and She the show to enjoy.

The music is loud as usually in these places
And somebody could see clearly customers' faces.
The people looked like they were from each other alienated,
Dizzy from drinks but from the loud music fascinated.

Suddenly a voice is heard to say aloud
That Love is somewhere in the crowd.
Somebody gets up and with pride
Points his finger to Love’s side.

All people look at Love with great surprise
And some from their seats at once rise,
To pay tribute to Love who is in that place
And to see where is sitting and her face.

Some others look at Love and smile with grace
That Love decided to come in that place.
Others approach and in front of Her are kneeling
And sing with a trembling voice and a deep feeling.

"Oh Love! You are the one we try to find,
We assure you, You are always in our mind,
Like mad people we try on your path to be near
But always we are stopped by our fear.

Oh Love! we want to taste your joy and grace
And in order to do this we end up in endless race.
Many times we dream to be embraced into your lap
But unfortunately we end up into solitude’s trap.

We are enchanted by your charm fullness and magnetism
And we are attracted by your magnificence and romanticism.
We try to find happiness desperately again and again
But instead o f this we end up to feel in our heart pain.

Pain that comes from fear that rips our chest apart,
Nests permanently in our soul and breaks our heart.
And then we are driven to isolation
In solitude’s lap and in alienation.

However we can not stand this situation
And we try to escape from this probation,
With the hope to our pain to decrease
An to find tranquility and peace.

Solitude is very hard to bear
Only few people to escape dare.
The rest of us feel that without reason
Lives daily in endless prison.

So we try with all our strength to change the situation
But we are unsuccessful and we end up in desperation.
Then our solution is to go in the pubs to stifle our pain
But unfortunately we end up again under solitude’s chain.

Solitude is ruthless and without pity,
The worst enemy in our city.
If someone in solitude’s net is caught
Then someone will feel alienated and distraught.

Oh Love! Please help us to survive
And solitude far away to drive.
Which our heart has so much intimidated
And makes us very often to be frustrated.

For this reason help us to fight our fear
To escape from the net of solitude and cheer.
In our heart to appear happiness and serenity
And to find at last our lost identity.”

Customers' words ring tormentingly in Love’s ears
She thought the truth was different, for so many years.
Suddenly tears in Love’s eyes come out,
She storms out and sobs her heart out.

She never expected so much fear in people’s heart to reign
Making their life miserable causing them distress and pain.
She thought that they were happy and satisfied,
But instead they live their lives stressed and agonized.
